Buffalo County Adult Drug Court is set to celebrate its latest graduation on Tuesday, July 16, 2024. The event will take place at 10:00 a.m. in Courtroom 1 of the Buffalo County Courthouse, located at 1512 Central Avenue in Kearney, Nebraska. Judge John Marsh will preside over the ceremony.
Lisa Hunzeker, who previously worked at Southeast Community College and the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, has been selected to serve as both the Pawnee and Johnson County court Clerk Magistrate in Pawnee City and Tecumseh, respectively. Her official work as Clerk Magistrate begins on July 15, 2024.
Melodie T. Bellamy of Kearney, Matthew C. Boyle of Grand Island, Dale T. Callahan of Hastings, Timothy E. Hoeft of Holdrege, and John A. Sauder of Holdrege have submitted applications for the position of District Court Judge in the 10th Judicial District. This district includes Adams, Clay, Franklin, Harlan, Kearney, Nuckolls, Phelps, and Webster counties.
