Application deadline set for Supreme Court judge vacancy in Fifth Judicial District

The Judicial Nominating Commission for the Supreme Court Judge position in Nebraska's Fifth Judicial District has scheduled a public hearing. The session will take place at the Hamilton County Courthouse, Aurora, Nebraska, on December 12, 2024, starting at 10:00 a.m. This event is organized to evaluate candidates for the vacancy left by Judge Jeffrey Funke, who became Chief Justice of the Nebraska Supreme Court as of November 1, 2024.
