Beadle County Treatment Court is set to hold a graduation ceremony on March 12, 2025, at 2 p.m. CST in the Beadle County Courthouse located in Huron. This event will take place in the third-floor courtroom and marks the completion of all program phases by participants. The ceremony will be attended by friends and family of the graduates and is open to both the public and media. A light reception will follow the event.

For those unable to attend in person, the ceremony can be accessed virtually via Zoom using Meeting ID: 675 273 830 and Passcode: 025029.

The Beadle County Treatment Court provides an alternative approach to traditional criminal case processing through its court-managed alcohol and drug intervention treatment program. The mission of this initiative is to improve public safety by helping participants become sober, productive, law-abiding citizens through supervision, treatment, and life skills education within a judicial setting.

"Treatment courts are an effective strategy for treating substance use and mental health disorders while reducing recidivism and saving taxpayer dollars," reads part of the press release. These courts combine supervision, treatment, and support to help individuals achieve stability, wellness, and recovery.
