The Minnesota Supreme Court and the Minnesota Judicial Council recently hosted Minnesota Justice Day at the State Capitol Courtroom. The event, held on March 20, brought together members of the Executive and Legislative branches for informal discussions, courtroom tours, and conversations about access to justice.

Governor Tim Walz and Attorney General Keith Ellison were among the state leaders who attended. They joined justices, judges, and court officials in engaging with lawmakers and policymakers. The gathering served as a platform to discuss the judiciary's role in ensuring fairness, transparency, and public trust within Minnesota's legal system.

Throughout the event, court leaders addressed questions regarding judicial operations, highlighted key priorities, and emphasized the importance of continued collaboration between government branches. Attendees also had the chance to tour areas of the Capitol Courtroom not usually open to the public, providing them with a deeper understanding of court processes.

Minnesota Justice Day underscored the Judicial Branch's dedication to strengthening relationships across government sectors, fostering public confidence in courts, and ensuring equitable access to justice for all residents of Minnesota.
