South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Jose Marquez Guzman, 36, of Ravenel, S.C., on two charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor. Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the Charleston County Sheriff's Office made the arrest.

Lexington man arrested on charges related to child sexual abuse material
South Carolina Attorney General Alan Wilson announced the arrest of Thomas Clinton Jordan Lockridge, 31, of Lexington, S.C., on ten charges connected to the sexual exploitation of a minor. Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force investigators with the South Carolina Attorney General's Office made the arrest. Investigators with the Lexington County Sheriff's Office, also a member of the state's ICAC Task Force, assisted with this investigation.

Burtchville woman pleads guilty to embezzling over $86k from elderly ward
LANSING – Yesterday, Lisa Marie Tramski, 57, of Burtchville, pled guilty in the 31st Circuit Court in St. Clair County to one count of embezzlement of $50,000 or more but less than $100,000, announced Michigan Attorney General Dana Nessel. Tramski embezzled more than $86,000 from an elderly woman after becoming her court-appointed guardian. Tramski will pay $51,600.75 in restitution prior to sentencing as part of the plea.
Grand jury indicts David Ouellette on child molestation charges
On July 17, 2024, the Statewide Grand Jury returned an indictment charging David Ouellette, age 64 from Coventry, RI, with seven counts of first-degree child molestation. The alleged acts occurred in the Town of Coventry on dates between May 1, 1998, and September 30, 2002. The Coventry Police Department conducted the investigation.
Ohio Supreme Court rules on expert testimony in child custody case
The Supreme Court of Ohio has ruled that a parent in a legal custody proceeding does not have the same legal safeguards as a parent facing the loss of parental rights in a permanent custody proceeding. This decision reverses a Fifth District Court of Appeals ruling which found that the due process rights of a Muskingum County woman, identified as "K.G.," were violated during a May 2022 legal custody hearing.
Attorney General demands action from landlord over broken air conditioning
PHOENIX — Attorney General Kris Mayes announced today that the Arizona Attorney General’s Office has issued a demand letter to Buenas Communities LLC, requiring immediate action to address the lack of proper air conditioning at the Buenas on 32nd apartment complex in Phoenix. This action follows media reports that up to 400 units are without adequate air conditioning during one of the hottest summers on record, posing serious health risks to residents.
