ORLANDO, Fla. (Legal Newsline) - A member at a Florida racquet club says he was served a foreign object with his meal and has filed a lawsuit.
Andrew Judelson filed a lawsuit June 25 against Winter Park Racquet Club, Inc. in the Orange County Circuit Court.
The complaint alleges that Judelson suffered severe injuries after unknowingly ingesting a food preservation packet hidden in his tomahawk steak meal at the club on March 28, 2024.
The ingestion led to significant medical issues, including a small bowel perforation that required surgery and hospitalization, the suit claims. Judelson claims ongoing pain and permanent disfigurement as a result of the incident.
He is seeking damages exceeding $50,000 for negligence on the part of Winter Park Racquet Club. J. Blaise Fischbach of Paul Knopf Bigger represents the plaintiff.
