A Fort Madison resident, Marty Feinberg, has entered a guilty plea to four counts of failing to file income tax returns. The plea was made in Davenport, Iowa.

Court documents reveal that Feinberg, aged 58, owned and operated a scrap metal business in Fort Madison. He did not file federal income tax returns for the years 2018 through 2021, despite earning gross income that exceeded the IRS's filing requirements.

Feinberg is scheduled for sentencing on March 10, 2025. He could face up to one year in prison for each count. A federal judge will determine the sentence after reviewing United States sentencing guidelines and other legal factors.

The announcement was made by United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal from the Southern District of Iowa. The investigation was conducted by the Internal Revenue Service—Criminal Investigation.
