The Administrative Office of the Courts (AOC) is in the process of restoring systems on the Washington Courts network after successful work and testing over the weekend. Forensic analysis is ongoing, but security experts have confirmed that all necessary steps have been taken to secure systems. The unauthorized activity detected has been eliminated.

"We can confirm that there was no detected breach of data and the event did not result in ransomware, due to quick action taken to isolate and secure the network," stated AOC officials. Further information will be provided following the next meeting of the state's Judicial Information System Committee in December.

As systems are brought back online, intermittent disruptions are expected due to the interconnected nature of the network operating in a new technical environment. To minimize these disruptions, certain services such as the Blake Refund Bureau, Appellate Court Document Portal, and e-filing for appellate courts will remain offline until stability is ensured.

The AOC expressed gratitude for public patience during this period as they work towards full restoration and functionality.
