The Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments has announced its nominees for the Court of Appeals Western Section. The council met in Jackson, Tennessee, where it conducted a public hearing and interviews before making its selections.
The nominees forwarded to Governor Bill Lee for consideration are Steven W. Maroney, James R. Newsom III, and Valerie L. Smith.
Governor Lee will now review the nominations and make his decision on the appointment.
