Governor's council reviews applicants for court of appeals vacancy

The Governor’s Council for Judicial Appointments is set to evaluate three candidates for a vacancy in the Court of Appeals Eastern Section. The candidates under consideration are Bryce W. McKenzie, Willie Santana, and Steven W. Sword.

A public hearing regarding this position will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024, at 10:30 EST. It will be held in the courtroom of the Tennessee Supreme Court Building located at 505 Main Street, Knoxville, Tennessee.

Members of the public are invited to attend the hearing and may present objections about any applicant either orally or in writing.
