The Circuit Court for Calvert County will hold a graduation ceremony on Thursday, February 21, to honor 11 graduates of its Adult Treatment Court. This event marks the successful completion of a court-supervised program focused on helping participants achieve self-sufficiency and become responsible community members.

Since the program's inception in 2015, more than 65 individuals have graduated from the Adult Treatment Court. The ceremony will take place at Courtroom 1 in the Circuit Court for Calvert County, located at 175 Main St., Prince Frederick, starting at 1 p.m.

Presiding over the ceremony will be Administrative Judge Marjorie L. Clagett, with Associate Judges Mark S. Chandlee and Gregory Wells also present. Scott F. Travers, Regional Director for Anne Arundel/Southern Maryland Office of U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen, is scheduled as a speaker. Lindsay Evensen, a Peer Recovery Support Specialist with Western Maryland Health System, will deliver the keynote address.
