Pre-trial proceedings set for State of Maryland v. Caesar Goodson

Pre-trial proceedings for the case of State of Maryland v. Caesar Goodson are set to commence on June 6, 2016. The proceedings will begin with a motions hearing at Courthouse East in Baltimore City, where pending motions may be addressed before jury selection.

The presiding judge for this case is the Honorable Barry G. Williams. Jury selection is scheduled to start the following day, June 7, 2016, at the Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr. Courthouse.

Courtroom seating for media representatives will be limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Parking restrictions around both courthouses will be enforced strictly, with a staging area for media trucks at City Hall Plaza. Media representatives should ensure pedestrian pathways remain clear and public areas are not restricted for media purposes.

All involved parties should review relevant Security/Media Protocol Orders regarding procedures during the trial phases and adhere to policies concerning electronic devices in court facilities.
