A scheduling hearing for the case of State of Maryland v. Caesar Goodson, Edward Nero, Garrett Miller, Brian Rice, Alicia White, and William Porter is set to take place on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. The Honorable Barry G. Williams will preside over the hearing at 2 p.m., located in the Circuit Court for Baltimore City at Courthouse East.
Due to limited seating capacity in the courtroom, a small number of reserved seats will be available for media representatives. Those interested must contact the Maryland Judiciary’s Office of Communications and Public Affairs via email. Requests should include personal details and media outlet information. Reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis with one representative per outlet unless additional space allows.
The media interview staging area is designated outside the Clarence M. Mitchell, Jr. Courthouse at the intersection of Fayette and Calvert Streets. Parking restrictions will be enforced around both courthouses during the hearing, with a separate area allocated for media trucks at City Hall Plaza.
Media personnel are advised to review the Security/Media Protocol Order regarding pre-trial hearings and familiarize themselves with policies on electronic devices within court facilities.
