The Codington County Treatment Court will hold a graduation ceremony on October 4, 2024, at 10 a.m. CDT in Courtroom #222 at the Codington County Courthouse, located at 14 First Ave. SE, Watertown. The event is open to the public and will honor participants who have successfully completed all phases of the program. Family and friends are expected to attend.

The treatment court is aimed at individuals with substance abuse disorders and requires voluntary participation. Participants must be committed to changing their lifestyle and overcoming alcohol and chemical dependency. These courts have demonstrated that combining supervision, treatment, and support can help individuals with substance use or mental health disorders achieve stability and recovery.
