The Nebraska Supreme Court Office of Public Guardian is inviting individuals with an interest in adult guardianships to participate in an online survey. The survey is open until April 13, 2025, and aims to gather information, experiences, and opinions on the guardianship process. The feedback is intended to help improve the system to better serve adults under guardianship and their appointed guardians.

The survey is targeting guardians, conservators, legal professionals, service providers, and other stakeholders. Participants will have the opportunity to join future focus groups facilitated by the Office of Public Guardian to discuss the needs of individuals under guardianship and their supporters.

To participate in the survey, individuals can access it through the provided link. Those requiring accommodations to complete the survey are advised to contact Sheryl Connolly at 402-413-9760.

The Nebraska judicial system is structured under the state Constitution, including the Supreme Court, Court of Appeals, district courts, and county courts, with administrative direction from the Supreme Court. Additionally, separate juvenile courts and a statewide Workers’ Compensation Court operate within the system.
