Skill requirements encompass organizing work priorities; balancing workloads from multiple judges; conducting legal research using resources like Westlaw or Lexis Nexis; drafting clear legal orders; applying legal principles to individual cases; presenting complex topics effectively in public presentations before managers or courts.
Physical requirements are minimal but include grasping objects up to 10 lbs., walking short distances occasionally while primarily sitting during work hours. Limited travel may be required within the district.
