Several North Dakota courthouses to close on July 5

Courthouses across several counties will be closed on July 5, 2024. The affected courthouses include those in Barnes, Benson, Bottineau, Bowman, Burke, Cavalier, Dunn, LaMoure, Logan, McKenzie, Mountrail, Nelson, Pembina, Renville, Richland, Rolette, Stutsman, Ward and Williams counties.

For residents requiring services in Barnes County and Stutsman County on that day, the courthouses will be closed but the offices will remain staffed to handle phone calls and filings.

Residents of Bottineau County and Renville County are advised to contact the McHenry County clerk of court office at 701-537-5729 for assistance. Similarly, those needing services in Rolette County and Towner County should reach out to the Pierce County clerk of court office at 701-776-6161.

In Benson County, inquiries should be directed to the Ramsey County clerk of court office at 701-662-1309. For Cavalier County and Pembina County residents needing services on July 5th, they should contact the Walsh County clerk of court office at 701-352-0350.

Nelson County residents can seek assistance from the Grand Forks County clerk of court office by calling 701-787-2700.

For McKenzie and Williams counties' residents needing assistance before noon on July 5th should call 701-774-4374; after noon they can call 701-965-6831. The same procedure applies for Ward county residents as well.
