HARRISBURG — Attorney General Michelle Henry announced that a Northampton County man was sentenced to 81 to 162 years in prison for sharing several videos of child sexual abuse material using the KIK social media application and possessing over 50 images on his cellphone. Zebbelin Standish, 36, was sentenced Wednesday in Northampton County Court. Sentencing Judge Paula A. Roscioli said in court that she wanted to ensure Standish could never victimize another child.
Standish was convicted at trial in February of 55 felony counts following an Office of Attorney General Child Predator Section investigation that resulted in his arrest in 2022.
"This defendant re-victimized the children who were depicted being exploited and abused in the images by possessing and sharing the materials with others online," Attorney General Henry said. "This case is another example of how social media can be used by predators and bad actors to harm children. My office remains committed to intervening in those dangers and educating parents and families how to protect themselves."
In February, a jury convicted Standish of 50 felony counts of possession of child pornography, four counts of dissemination of child pornography, and criminal use of a communication facility, following a four-day jury trial. Senior Deputy Attorney General Michelle Laucella prosecuted the case.
