BOSTON (Legal Newsline) - A Massachusetts construction worker is suing after plummeting through the floor of the Winthrop Center in Boston.

Jason Locke sued Suffolk Construction Company and S&F Concrete Contractors on March 23 in Suffolk County Superior Court. The alleged incident occurred Oct. 8 on the 31st floor of the building.

Locke was walking across a piece of unmarked plywood that covered a hole between the 30th and 31st floors, the suit says.

"Unbeknownst to Mr. Locke, this piece of unmarked plywood was unsupported, and when he stepped onto this, the plywood collapsed, and he subsequently fell 10 to 12 feet through the floor," the suit says.

Locke suffered "debilitating" physical and emotional injuries, the suit says. He is represented by Andy Abraham and Harrison Lebov of Keches Law Group in Milton.
