Fox Rothschild alleges California company owes more than $200,000 for legal work

NEW YORK (Legal Newsline) – A New York law firm alleges a Los Angeles company failed to pay it for its legal services.

Fox Rothschild LLP filed a complaint on May 14 in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York against Geleshmall Enterprises LLC alleging breach of contract and unjust enrichment.

The plaintiff alleges it represented the defendant in a federal legal matter in 2016 and the defendant approved of the fees. The plaintiff alleges it sent invoices and the total of $237,559.10 remains unpaid.

The plaintiff is seeking relief in the balance of $237,559.10, plus interest of $27,647.98, costs, attorneys’ fees and any other and further relief deemed fit. The plaintiff is represented by Elizabeth C. Viele of Fox Rothschild LLP in New York.
