The individuals were part of violent groups including Zoe Mafia Family (ZMF), the 3rd World gang, and various Bloods gang sects.

Charges involved trafficking fentanyl, methamphetamine, and cocaine, as well as firearm offenses linked to drug crimes. The operation resulted in the seizure of 23 firearms, three kilograms of fentanyl, seven kilograms of cocaine, methamphetamine, crack cocaine, and marijuana.

Convicted individuals received various prison terms. U.S. Attorney Hayden P. O’Byrne announced these results alongside acting Special Agent in Charge Gordon Mallory from ATF Miami Field Division and Sheriff Gregory Tony from Broward Sheriff’s Office.

This case was investigated by ATF Miami and Broward Sheriff’s Office with assistance from DEA Miami, HSI Miami, and FBI Miami. Prosecutors Bruce Brown and Jason McCormack led the cases.

Several defendants are associated with ZMF, a Haitian street gang in South Florida. Recently, two Haitian gangs were designated as Foreign Terrorist Organizations by the U.S. State Department.

This operation is part of an Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF) initiative aimed at dismantling high-level criminal organizations threatening the United States through a multi-agency approach.
