Las Vegas man sentenced to decade-long prison term for drug distribution

A Las Vegas man has been sentenced to 10 years in prison for his involvement in a drug trafficking conspiracy. United States District Judge Gloria M. Navarro handed down the sentence, which includes five years of supervised release following the prison term.

Court documents reveal that Abel Puebla was involved in a conspiracy from December 11, 2023, to May 16, 2024, to distribute methamphetamine, heroin, and cocaine within Las Vegas. Specific incidents noted include Puebla's sale of one pound of methamphetamine on January 24, 2024; three pounds of methamphetamine and a bag containing cocaine on February 14, 2024; and an ounce of heroin on March 28, 2024.

Puebla entered a guilty plea to one count of conspiracy to distribute these drugs.

The announcement was made by United States Attorney Sigal Chattah for the District of Nevada and Special Agent in Charge Spencer L. Evans for the FBI. The case was investigated by the FBI with Assistant United States Attorney Joshua Brister prosecuting.
