Diquan Hall, a 26-year-old resident of Syracuse, has been sentenced to 110 months in federal prison for distributing fentanyl and methamphetamine. This announcement came from United States Attorney John A. Sarcone III and Bryan Miller, Special Agent in Charge of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).
In his guilty plea, Hall confessed to the distribution of fentanyl and methamphetamine on multiple occasions within the Syracuse area during January and February 2024. Senior United States District Judge Glenn T. Suddaby additionally mandated that Hall undergo a four-year term of supervised release following the completion of his prison sentence.
The investigation leading to Hall's conviction was a collaborative effort involving the ATF, the U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration, the Syracuse Police Department Intelligence Division, and the New York Department of Corrections and Community Supervision. Assistant U.S. Attorney Nicolas Commandeur, along with former Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard Southwick, led the prosecution of the case.
