The United States Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma has announced that Scott Alan Bahe, a 42-year-old resident of Muskogee, Oklahoma, has pled guilty to federal firearm charges. Bahe admitted to one count of Felon in Possession of Firearm and Ammunition, as well as one count of Felon in Possession of Ammunition. Both charges could result in up to 15 years of imprisonment and up to a $250,000 fine.

According to the indictment, Bahe was charged with knowingly possessing a 9mm Luger semi-automatic pistol and ten rounds of 9mm Luger-caliber ammunition on December 23, 2023, despite previous convictions for crimes punishable by more than a year of imprisonment. Bahe was also charged with possessing 39 additional rounds of 9mm Luger caliber ammunition on the same day under similar circumstances.

These charges resulted from an investigation by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives and the Muskogee Police Department.

"Honorable Jason A. Robertson, U.S. Magistrate Judge in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma, accepted the plea and ordered the completion of a presentence investigation report."

A U.S. District Court Judge will determine Bahe's sentence after considering U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors. Bahe is currently in custody of the United States Marshals Service as he awaits sentencing.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Lewis M. Reagan and T. Cameron McEwen have represented the United States in this case.
