Three residents of Oklahoma have entered guilty pleas regarding federal drug charges linked to distributing illegal substances in Eastern Oklahoma. The United States Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Oklahoma made the announcement involving defendants from Hugo, Atoka, and Durant.

Ja'Darious Rajae Scroggins, also known as Juice, aged 25, pleaded guilty to Drug Conspiracy, an offense that carries a potential penalty of up to 465 months of imprisonment. The Superseding Indictment claims that, from October 19, 2023, to July 17, 2024, Scroggins conspired to distribute more than 50 grams of methamphetamine and substances containing cocaine, both being Schedule II controlled substances. It is further alleged that Scroggins obtained and used firearms to advance this distribution.

Latrell Lamont Crawford, or Trell, aged 25, admitted to Distribution of Methamphetamine, with a maximum penalty of 188 months in prison. His Superseding Indictment alleged he distributed over 50 grams of methamphetamine on December 18, 2023.

Kaleigh Leann Ervin, aged 22, confessed to Maintaining Drug Involved Premises, which could lead to up to 63 months of imprisonment. According to the Superseding Indictment, from October 25, 2023, to January 16, 2024, she managed a residence in Durant, Oklahoma, for distributing methamphetamine and cocaine.

Investigations conducted by multiple agencies, including the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, along with local police departments, led to the charges.

The pleas were accepted by U.S. Magistrate Judge Jason A. Robertson of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Oklahoma. A presentence investigation will be completed before a U.S. District Court Judge decides on the sentencing, considering the U.S. Sentencing Guidelines and other statutory factors.

Until sentencing, the defendants will be held by the United States Marshals Service. Assistant U.S. Attorneys Joshua Satter, Jordan W. Howanitz, and Rachel Geizura represented the United States.
