A Dothan resident has been sentenced to five years in prison for wire fraud and interstate transportation of stolen goods. Randy Pressley, aged 45, used stolen identification to open accounts with food distribution companies. He ordered food and resold it in Mississippi. When invoices were due, the victims disputed the transactions, resulting in losses exceeding $750,000 for the companies involved.

Following his 60-month prison term, Pressley will serve three years of supervised release. He has also been ordered to pay restitution and forfeit the proceeds from his illegal activities.

U.S. Attorney Sean Costello of the Southern District of Alabama announced the sentencing. The Federal Bureau of Investigation, along with police departments in Hattiesburg, Chatom, and Jackson, conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Tandice Blackwood prosecuted the case.
