An Orange, Texas man, Bradley Morgan Holts, has admitted guilt to charges related to a federal fraud scheme, according to an announcement by Acting U.S. Attorney Abe McGlothin, Jr. The plea was entered on March 31, 2025, with Holts pleading guilty to wire fraud in front of U.S. Magistrate Judge Zack Hawthorn.

Holts, aged 54, has worked as a financial advisor and stockbroker, with past affiliations at Capital One Bank and World Capital Brokerage. In 2021, Holts initiated a bank account under the name "Bradley Morgan Holts dba Invesco Investment Texas" (ITT). He misled investors into believing they were investing in Invesco, Ltd., an investment firm, while he redirected the funds for his personal use.

The charges he admitted to carry a potential sentence of up to 20 years in federal prison. As noted, the maximum statutory sentence is decided by Congress and highlighted here for informational purposes only. The definitive sentence will be determined later by the court according to advisory sentencing guidelines and other statutory considerations. A sentencing hearing will be arranged following the completion of a presentence investigation conducted by the U.S. Probation Office.

The FBI’s Beaumont Field Office is conducting the investigation, with Assistant U.S. Attorneys Chris Jackson and Reynaldo P. Morin overseeing the prosecution.
