Three individuals have been arrested and charged with multiple drug-related offenses following operations at two nightclubs in Antioch, Tennessee. The accused include Rimon Salim, 37, a naturalized U.S. citizen; Antuan Rhodes, 44, of Nashville, and Jorge Luis, 35, a Mexican citizen without legal status in the U.S. This was announced by Robert E. McGuire, Acting United States Attorney for the Middle District of Tennessee.

“The extraordinary number of calls from citizens to police about these establishments justifies law enforcement efforts to hold these individuals accountable for their criminal activity,” stated McGuire. He added that “night clubs like these, where illegal activity is rampant, are a blight on our city and we will do what it takes to clean them up for the benefit of the community.”

Joseph E. Carrico, Special Agent in Charge of the FBI Nashville Field Office, commented on the coordinated efforts stating, “This operation exemplifies the effectiveness of collaboration between federal, state, and local agencies who have united to combat a drug trafficking operation. The FBI remains committed to working with our partners to keep illegal drugs off our streets and holding those accountable for endangering our communities.”

The court documents reveal that Salim owns Miami Club and Paisanos bar and billar. Paisanos operates as a nightclub during weekends, whereas Miami Club extends as an "after-party nightclub." Since 2020, over 400 service calls related to criminal activities like fights, weapons, gunshot victims, and drug-related incidents were received from these establishments and surrounding areas.

Law enforcement began investigating approximately 18 months ago, utilizing undercover agents and informants to verify drug trafficking allegations. Investigations revealed Jorge Luis sold cocaine in Paisanos while Salim and Rhodes distributed methamphetamine and cocaine at Miami Club between 2024 and 2025.

Salim is charged with maintaining a drug-involved premises and distributing controlled substances, facing up to 20 years in prison and a $500,000 fine for the former and a life sentence and $10,000,000 fine for the latter. Luis and Rhodes face charges of distributing controlled substances, with potential sentences of up to 20 years and fines of $1,000,000 each.

The investigation involved multiple agencies, including the FBI, ATF, DEA, Homeland Security, and Tennessee law enforcement bodies, prosecuting under Assistant U.S. Attorney Ahmed Safeeullah. This case is part of Operation Take Back America, aimed at countering illegal immigration and organized crime.

It is important to note that a complaint is merely an allegation, and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
