Attorney General Charity Clark has been elected to the Executive Committee of the National Association of Attorneys General (NAAG). The association includes attorneys general from across the United States and its territories. The Executive Committee is responsible for overseeing NAAG's management and acts as the governing body for its members.
Clark was nominated by the Democratic Party Caucus and subsequently elected at NAAG's annual business meeting during the Capital Forum in December 2024. She began her duties on the committee in January 2025.
Upon her appointment, Attorney General Clark stated: "State Attorneys General face uniquely difficult challenges today, and our collaboration and collegiality are perhaps more important now than ever before. As a member of the National Association of Attorneys General Executive Committee, I will work to strengthen the association and facilitate greater collaboration among all attorneys general on issues impacting our states."
