Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche announced that the Justice Department is launching a criminal investigation into the leak of classified intelligence information. The leaked data, described as inaccurate but still classified, pertains to the Intelligence Community's findings on Tren de Aragua (TDA).

Blanche stated, "The Justice Department is opening a criminal investigation relating to the selective leak of inaccurate, but nevertheless classified, information from the Intelligence Community relating to Tren de Aragua (TDA)."

He emphasized that such leaks are politically motivated attempts by what he referred to as the Deep State to undermine President Trump's agenda. He criticized these efforts for spreading false information through media outlets like the New York Times.

Blanche further remarked on the Alien Enemies Proclamation, asserting its foundation in fact and law. He expressed confidence that this would be demonstrated in court proceedings and affirmed plans to expel TDA members from the United States.
