Quad Cities man receives lengthy sentence for racketeering and drug charges

A man from the Quad Cities has been sentenced to nearly 20 years in federal prison for his involvement in a racketeering conspiracy and possession of cocaine base. Timothy Justin Beaver, 30, was sentenced on March 13, 2025, to 235 months in prison. He was identified as a member of the Fifth Street gang, also known by several other names including Arsenal Courts Posse and Rock Town Money Getters.

The gang has been linked to numerous violent crimes over the years, including murder and drug trafficking in the Davenport and Rock Island areas. Evidence presented at trial connected the gang to dozens of shooting investigations and at least seven homicides over two decades.

Following his prison term, Beaver will serve three years of supervised release. In the federal system, parole is not an option.

Ricky Lee Childs Jr., another defendant involved in the conspiracy, was sentenced on January 23, 2025. The Peoria resident received a sentence of 160 months in prison with a subsequent three-year supervised release period.

Another co-defendant, Rasheem Damonte Bogan from the Quad Cities, pleaded guilty to racketeering conspiracy and felon in possession of a firearm on February 10, 2025. Bogan is scheduled for sentencing on June 10, 2025, facing up to 30 years in prison.

Kylea Dapri Cartwright Jr., also from the Quad Cities, was found guilty by a jury on February 20, 2025. Cartwright's charges include racketeering conspiracy and possessing ammunition as a felon. His sentencing is set for July 10, 2025.

United States Attorney Richard D. Westphal announced these developments. The case was investigated by multiple law enforcement agencies including police departments from Davenport and Rock Island and federal agencies such as the FBI and DEA.
