Three Dominican men were apprehended this morning in connection with a conspiracy to distribute cocaine and crack cocaine in Nashua, according to Acting U.S. Attorney Jay McCormack.
The individuals, Elizardo Escaria Delison, 32, Belisario Luis Delison, 49, and Rayddy Delison De Aza, 28, face charges of conspiracy to distribute and possession with the intent to distribute controlled substances. They are scheduled for a federal court appearance today.
Charging documents and courtroom statements indicate that the defendants sold cocaine and crack cocaine to law enforcement over ten times during the conspiracy.
The Drug Enforcement Administration spearheaded the investigation with assistance from the Nashua Police Department. Assistant U.S. Attorney Cesar Vega is handling the prosecution.
This case is part of Operation Take Back America, an initiative by the Department of Justice aimed at combating illegal immigration and dismantling cartels and transnational criminal organizations. The operation consolidates resources from the Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETFs) and Project Safe Neighborhood (PSN).
It is important to note that all details within charging documents are allegations. The defendants are considered innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
