Jordan Pack, a convicted felon and one of the Atlanta Police Department's most wanted fugitives, has been sentenced for multiple firearm-related offenses. Pack was found guilty of two counts of unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition by a convicted felon and one count of unlawful possession of ammunition by a convicted felon.

Acting U.S. Attorney Richard S. Moultrie, Jr. stated, "Pack continued to possess firearms and commit violent offenses after being previously convicted of a violent felony." He added that this case highlights the effective partnerships in law enforcement that facilitate the prosecution of repeat offenders like Pack.

Special Agent in Charge Benjamin Gibbons emphasized the commitment to holding individuals with criminal histories accountable: "This sentence reflects ATF commitment to ensure that those with a history of crime are held accountable." He stressed the danger posed by convicted felons possessing firearms and reiterated the efforts to remove such threats from communities.

In October 2008, Pack was convicted of armed robbery involving a firearm in Douglasville, Georgia. After serving part of his sentence, he was released from prison in April 2018. However, his illegal activities continued post-release.

On October 22, 2021, during an arrest related to a motor vehicle collision in Dacula, Georgia, officers discovered live .38 caliber ammunition on Pack and later recovered a loaded .38 caliber Taurus revolver he had discarded nearby. In another incident on June 17, 2022, following a domestic dispute in Northwest Atlanta, Pack fired multiple shots into the air before fleeing the scene.

The APD fugitive unit apprehended Pack on August 10, 2022. At that time, he was working as an armed security guard under an alias and possessed several weapons including a Tokarev shotgun and other firearms with ammunition.

Chief District Judge Timothy C. Batten Sr. sentenced Jordan Pack to 66 months in prison followed by three years of supervised release on March 6, 2024. He pleaded guilty to these charges on November 12, 2024.

The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives along with the Atlanta Police Department conducted the investigation leading to this conviction. The case is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), which aims to reduce violent crime through strategic enforcement priorities and community trust-building initiatives.

Assistant United States Attorney Joshua May prosecuted the case alongside former Assistant U.S. Attorneys Jesika French and Norman Barnett.
