U.S. Attorney Michael DiGiacomo has announced the sentencing of Willie C. Graham, a 44-year-old resident of Jamestown, NY, to 66 months in prison. Graham was convicted of possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge John L. Sinatra, Jr.
Assistant U.S. Attorney Donna M. Duncan, who managed the case, provided details of the incidents leading to Graham's conviction. On September 6, 2023, Jamestown Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle where Graham was a passenger and discovered drug paraphernalia and approximately 29 grams of fentanyl on him.
On March 2, 2024, Graham was again a passenger in a car that evaded law enforcement during an attempted traffic stop. A search of this vehicle uncovered about 12 grams of methamphetamine, additional drug paraphernalia, and $1,134 in cash.
Graham was arrested by Jamestown Police officers on April 30, 2024. At his arrest, he possessed various bank and benefit cards not issued to him, around 53 grams of methamphetamine, more drug paraphernalia, and $185.
The investigation leading to Graham's sentencing involved the Jamestown Police Department under Chief Timothy Jackson and the Federal Bureau of Investigation led by Special Agent-in-Charge Matthew Miraglia.
