Kenneth Turner, a resident of Hornell, New York, has been sentenced to 96 months in prison for his involvement in a methamphetamine distribution conspiracy. Acting U.S. Attorney Joel Louis Violanti made the announcement regarding Turner's conviction for conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute and distribute five grams or more of methamphetamine.
The case was managed by Assistant U.S. Attorney Charles Moynihan. Turner was apprehended in December 2021 following the discovery of a package containing approximately 111 grams of methamphetamine sent from Nevada to his residence. A subsequent search warrant executed at Turner's home led investigators to uncover additional methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
This sentencing followed an investigation conducted by several law enforcement agencies. The Drug Enforcement Administration was involved under the leadership of Special Agent-in-Charge Frank Tarentino from the New York Field Division. The United States Postal Inspection Service participated under Special Agent-in-Charge Ketty Larco Ward, alongside the Steuben County Sheriff's Office directed by Sheriff Jim Allard.
