Lucy Grace Nelson, also known as Justin Thomas Nelson, has been charged with one count of malicious destruction of property in connection with a series of incidents at a Tesla dealership in Loveland, Colorado. The United States Attorney’s Office for the District of Colorado announced the charges against the 42-year-old Lyons resident.

The complaint details several incidents beginning on January 29 when Loveland Police responded to a report of a fire near a Cyber Truck at the dealership. Investigators found an incendiary device next to the vehicle. On February 2, police were alerted to graffiti on the dealership sign, where "NAZI" was spray-painted in black. Additional reports on February 7 included graffiti and possible arson, where multiple broken bottles consistent with incendiary devices were discovered.

On February 11, a security guard encountered an individual painting graffiti containing an expletive on the front windows of the building. Police confronted Nelson at the dealership on February 24 and found items in her car similar to those used in previous incidents.

Nelson made her initial appearance before Magistrate Judge N. Reid Neureiter.

The investigation is being conducted by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms, and Explosives; the Federal Bureau of Investigation Denver Field Office; and the Loveland Police Department. The prosecution is managed by the Violent Crime and Immigration Enforcement Section of the United States Attorney’s Office.
