The Michigan Supreme Court has scheduled a public administrative hearing for March 19, 2025. This session will address several key issues, including the increased use of electronic service, requests for changes in custody or parenting time, and the expansion of annual financial disclosure requirements for judicial officers.

The hearing is set to begin at 9:30 a.m. and will be conducted virtually. Commenters who wish to participate will receive Zoom coordinates, while others can view the proceedings via a livestream on the MSC YouTube page.

This meeting aligns with Administrative Order No. 1997-11, which mandates that the Supreme Court hold public hearings at least three times annually on rules or orders that significantly impact justice delivery and are proposed for adoption or amendment.

Interested parties wishing to comment must focus solely on items listed in the published agenda. To secure a spot on the agenda, individuals need to make reservations by March 14 through an online form, email (ADMcomment@courts.mi.gov), or phone (517-373-1239).

Previously-received comments regarding the agenda items can be viewed on the proposed and recently-adopted orders page.
