Rushan Lavar Reed and Celeste Nicole Reed, both residents of Las Vegas, Nevada, were sentenced to federal prison terms in U.S. District Court for their involvement in a drug trafficking conspiracy. Rushan Reed received a 51-month sentence, while Celeste Reed was sentenced to 37 months. Their illegal activities involved distributing "pharmacy grade - not homemade pressed pills" through seven darknet markets.
The sentences were announced by U.S. Attorney Edward R. Martin along with officials from the U.S. Postal Inspection Service and the FBI. The couple pleaded guilty on October 22, 2024, to charges of conspiracy to distribute oxycodone, hydrocodone, and amphetamine. Judge Carl J. Nichols also ordered them to serve three years of supervised release after completing their prison terms.
Court documents revealed that the Reeds operated an online storefront named “MrsFeelGood” for six years, distributing various narcotics across the United States using darknet markets such as Monopoly and AlphaBay. They sold drugs including MDMA, codeine, Vyvanse, Dilaudid, and marijuana in addition to oxycodone and hydrocodone. The darkweb allowed them to conceal their identities and transactions while they used cryptocurrency to launder proceeds.
On October 11, 2023, law enforcement executed arrest warrants at their Las Vegas residence where officers seized multiple prescription bottles filled with pills, packaging materials, electronic devices designed for darknet access, and an AR-15 firearm.
The investigation was conducted by the FBI's Washington and Las Vegas Field Offices alongside divisions of the U.S. Postal Inspection Service. Assistant United States Attorney Peter V. Roman is prosecuting the case with assistance from Special Assistant U.S. Attorney Isabelle Sun and others.
