Timothy M. O’Shea, the United States Attorney for the Western District of Wisconsin, announced that a Beloit man has been sentenced to 22 and a half years in federal prison for producing child pornography. Misael Dominguez Adorno, aged 25, was sentenced by U.S. District Judge William M. Conley. The sentence will be followed by 25 years of supervised release. Dominguez Adorno had pleaded guilty to the charge on October 9, 2024.

The case began in November 2022 when Beloit Police received a CyberTip indicating that sexually explicit images were uploaded from Dominguez Adorno’s residence. A search warrant led officers to seize multiple electronic devices from his home.

Upon analyzing these devices, officers discovered videos showing Dominguez Adorno involved in sexually explicit activities with five minors who were identified by authorities. Additionally, it was found that he had received explicit images from a sixth minor victim.

Judge Conley remarked on Dominguez Adorno's lack of concern for his victims and noted his manipulation of them for personal gain. He also commented on how Dominguez Adorno failed to understand the impact of his actions on the victims' youth.

The investigation was carried out by the Beloit Police Department, Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation, and the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorney Elizabeth Altman prosecuted the case.

This investigation is part of Project Safe Childhood (PSC), an initiative aimed at combating child sexual exploitation and abuse through coordinated efforts among federal, state, and local agencies to prosecute offenders and rescue victims.
