Attorney General Kris Mayes has announced the indictment of Gehrig Duarte, 21, on charges related to child sexual exploitation. The State Grand Jury indicted Duarte on December 30, 2024, with ten counts of Sexual Exploitation of a Minor. These charges are based on several online tips from Electronic Service Providers concerning Child Sexual Abuse Material.

Duarte is currently held on a $100,000 cash-only bond. It is important to note that all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law and convicted by a jury.

The investigation is being conducted by U.S. Homeland Security Investigations (HSI). Further details, including the indictment and the defendant's booking photo, have been made available.
