A man has been sentenced to 20 years in federal prison for kidnapping, following his involvement in the sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl. The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Texas, Leigha Simonton.

Lukumond Adebola Olatunji, aged 46, and Vincent Jerome Thompson, aged 42, were indicted in January 2022. Mr. Thompson admitted guilt in June 2024 to charges of producing child pornography and aiding and abetting. Two months later, Mr. Olatunji pleaded guilty to kidnapping a minor.

U.S. District Judge Ed Kinkeade sentenced Mr. Olatunji to 240 months in federal prison on Wednesday and ordered him to register as a sex offender. Mr. Thompson received an identical sentence in October.

Plea documents reveal that on October 23, 2021, the men approached the teenage girl and offered her a ride home but instead drove her to an alleyway where Mr. Olatunji sexually assaulted her while Mr. Thompson filmed the act on his phone.

The video captures the child expressing her reluctance with statements like “I don’t want to do it no more,” and “can we go?”

Subsequently, they took her to a motel where both men continued their assaults over approximately five hours until she managed to escape with her belongings.

Law enforcement interviews revealed admissions from both men regarding their actions with the child; Mr. Olatunji acknowledged that she had repeatedly expressed unwillingness during the encounter.

The investigation was conducted by Homeland Security Investigation’s Dallas Field Office and the Dallas Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorneys Michelle A. Winters, Jenna Rudoff (fmr.), and Joe Magliolo (fmr.).
