A Jasper County resident has been sentenced to 51 months in federal prison for a firearms violation. The announcement was made by U.S. Attorney Damien M. Diggs, who revealed that Bradley Joseph LeBlanc, aged 25, pleaded guilty to possession of an unregistered firearm. The sentencing was handed down by U.S. District Judge Marcia A. Crone on January 16, 2025.
The court heard that law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at LeBlanc’s home in Jasper on November 15, 2023. During the search, they found a fully automatic machine gun reported stolen from a Waller County law enforcement officer’s vehicle. Further investigations showed that there were no firearms records for LeBlanc with the National Firearms Registration and Transfer Records (NFRTR).
