United States Attorney Susan Lehr has announced the sentencing of Daniella M. Fedail, a 30-year-old resident of Omaha, Nebraska. On December 19, 2024, in a federal court in Omaha, Fedail was sentenced for distributing methamphetamine. United States District Judge Brian C. Buescher handed down a sentence of 120 months' imprisonment. In the federal system, parole is not available. Following her prison term, Fedail will serve a five-year term of supervised release.

The case traces back to November 15, 2023, when a DEA confidential source (CS) executed a controlled purchase involving one pound of methamphetamine. The CS initially met with Hanna Faust, also known as "Williams," at a location in mid-town Omaha. Faust contacted her supplier who indicated that a silver Impala would deliver the drugs. Fedail arrived at the scene in the described vehicle and exchanged the buy money for a package containing 464 grams of methamphetamine.

Subsequently, on December 21, 2023, the DEA obtained and executed a federal search warrant at Fedail's residence in Omaha. She was arrested during this operation and informed of her Miranda rights. During questioning, she admitted to participating in narcotics trafficking activities.

The Drug Enforcement Administration led the investigation into this case.
