Steven Raymon Waller, a 46-year-old resident of Sacramento, has been sentenced to 39 months in prison for access device fraud. The sentence was handed down by U.S. District Judge Dale A. Drozd.

Court documents reveal that between November 2017 and March 2019, Waller used stolen credit card numbers to purchase gift cards valued at approximately $927,000 from a national retailer.

In addition to his prison term, Waller is required to serve three years of supervised release and pay restitution amounting to $927,000 to the affected retailer.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation conducted the investigation leading to this case. Assistant United States Attorney Nicholas M. Fogg prosecuted the matter.
