Joshua P. Carney, 40, from Marble Falls, Texas, had his probation revoked and reinstated for five years due to multiple violations including camping without a permit and having an illegal fire in Yellowstone National Park. Carney was also sentenced to 90 days in jail for resisting arrest. He was cited on September 22 for food storage violation and out-of-bounds camping. On October 8, he received fines and two years of unsupervised probation with a ban from Yellowstone National Park. However, on November 25, he violated these terms by being found in the park again, leading to charges of camping without a permit and other violations. After pleading guilty on December 9 to violating his probation and resisting arrest, U.S. Magistrate Judge Stephanie A. Hambrick imposed his sentence.

Sandra Pappas, 31, from Arvada, Colorado, was convicted of driving under the influence near Yellowstone National Park. She was fined $750 and placed on one year of unsupervised probation with a park ban during that time. Additionally, she refused an official breath test resulting in a seven-day incarceration sentence.

In Grand Teton National Park, Michael Brockman, 55, from Wilson, Wyoming faced several convictions including driving under the influence and interfering with law enforcement officers. He was fined $750 and sentenced to various jail terms totaling twenty days.

Under federal law (18 U.S.C. 3118), both Pappas and Brockman are prohibited from operating vehicles on federal lands for one year due to their refusal of breath tests.

In drug trafficking cases involving the Wind River Reservation in Wyoming: Whitney Wesaw received a sentence of 142 days incarceration followed by three years supervised release for distributing fentanyl; Greyson Redman received time served with three years supervised release for similar charges. Both cases were prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Timothy W. Gist after investigations by the Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and FBI.

Jarred Luther Pacheco was sentenced to 41 months imprisonment for possessing a firearm as a felon following an incident involving Cheyenne Police Department's pursuit over a stolen vehicle report.

Victor Hugo Lira Tepca was sentenced to time served followed by deportation for illegally reentering the United States after being previously removed in March 2010.
