A Billings man, Anthony Enemyhunter, 37, has been sentenced to 10 years and eight months in prison for his involvement in methamphetamine trafficking. This sentence will be followed by five years of supervised release, as announced by U.S. Attorney Jesse Laslovich.

Enemyhunter admitted guilt in August to the charge of possession with intent to distribute meth. The sentencing was presided over by U.S. Attorney Susan P. Watters.

According to court documents, Enemyhunter was part of a multi-state drug trafficking organization operating from a residence on Sugar Avenue in Billings. This group involved individuals from Washington who transported meth into Montana for distribution along with fentanyl. Enemyhunter was identified as selling meth from a hotel room in Billings, where a probation search led to the seizure of a firearm, ammunition, and some methamphetamine. Additionally, he sold meth to a confidential source twice and was found with meth and several firearms during a vehicle stop by the Montana Highway Patrol in February.

The case was prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office following an investigation conducted by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

This prosecution is part of Project Safe Neighborhoods (PSN), an initiative aimed at reducing violent crime and gun violence through collaboration between law enforcement agencies and communities. The Department launched an enhanced violent crime reduction strategy under PSN on May 26, 2021, focusing on building trust within communities, supporting preventive community-based organizations, setting strategic enforcement priorities, and evaluating outcomes.
