Maryland courts announce holiday closures for late December and early January

All courts, court offices, and administrative offices in Maryland will be closed on several upcoming dates: December 24, 25, 31, 2020, and January 1, 2021. The closures affect the Court of Appeals of Maryland, the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland, circuit courts for Baltimore City and the counties, the District Court of Maryland, orphans’ courts, clerks' offices, the Administrative Office of the Courts, and judicial units.

Individuals with hearings scheduled on December 24 or December 31 will receive a notice from the court regarding their new court date. Information about Maryland's courts can be accessed at https://www.mdcourts.gov/courtsdirectory.

The Maryland Judiciary will maintain normal business hours on December 21-23 and December 28-30.
