Pre-trial proceedings for the case of State of Maryland v. Edward Nero are set to commence on May 10, 2016. The motions hearing will take place at Courthouse East in Baltimore City, where pending motions may be addressed before the trial begins the following day.
Judge Barry G. Williams will preside over both the motions hearing and the trial. Proceedings will begin each day at 9:30 a.m. in Courtroom 234 at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, located at 111 N. Calvert Street.
Media representatives planning to attend have specific protocols to follow. Seating is limited and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, with one representative allowed per media outlet until space is filled. Media must arrive by 8 a.m. to secure seating.

Electronic devices such as cell phones and recording equipment are prohibited within these areas.
Wi-Fi access is unavailable at the courthouse, so media personnel should bring their own connection devices if needed. Parking restrictions around courthouses will be strictly enforced, with designated parking for media trucks situated at City Hall Plaza.
