A pre-trial motions hearing for the case of State of Maryland v. William Porter is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. The hearing will be presided over by Judge Barry G. Williams and held at the Circuit Court for Baltimore City, Courthouse East.
Media representatives interested in attending must contact the Maryland Judiciary’s Office of Communications and Public Affairs via email to request reserved seating. The email should include the representative's name, media outlet, and contact information. Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis with one representative per outlet until capacity is reached.
Media personnel must arrive by 8 a.m., and additional names may be submitted but will only receive seats if space permits. A designated room will be available for electronic device use; however, Wi-Fi is not provided.
Parking restrictions will be enforced around both courthouses during the hearing. Media trucks can park at City Hall Plaza starting from midnight on the day of the hearing but must avoid blocking public areas.
