The Supreme Court of Nevada has announced bar admission ceremonies for new lawyers who passed the February 2024 bar examination. The events are scheduled for Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at the Nevada Supreme Court in Carson City and Friday, May 10, 2024, at the Las Vegas City Hall Council Chambers.
Applicants who have successfully met all admissions requirements are eligible to participate. Those with pending requirements will not be allowed to join the ceremony. Participants must arrive at least thirty minutes before the start and check in with the Supreme Court Clerk. Representatives from the Clerk's Office will collect oaths and record names in the lobby.
Special seating arrangements will be made for new lawyers separate from other attendees. A reception will follow each ceremony; one in the Rotunda of the Supreme Court for Carson City participants and another in the foyer of Las Vegas City Hall for those attending there.
